Refund policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
ShipFix sells fixed-price fixes: Single Bug Fix ($29), Deploy Rescue ($79), Launch-Readiness Pass ($149) and App Down Emergency ($249). Rush is a +$25 add-on for the first three. Our promise: no fix, full refund. This page explains exactly when you get your money back.
"Delivery" means the day we email you the link to your finished pull request.
Full refund
You get a full refund if:
- We can't fix the problem you described in your intake form.
- The job turns out to be outside the scope of the fix you ordered. We'll email you before we start the fix, and you can choose a full refund or switch to a service that covers it by paying the price difference.
- Our fix doesn't solve the problem you described, you tell us within 7 days of delivery, and our one free revision doesn't solve it either.
- We haven't delivered your fix within 14 days of your order, and the delay isn't because we're waiting on you (for example, for repo access or intake details).
- We still don't have access to your repo 7 days after your order, even after we've followed up by email. We then cancel the order.
Launch-Readiness Pass
A Launch-Readiness Pass covers up to 5 fixes. You get a full refund if we fix none of the problems you listed in your intake form. If we fix at least one, the order counts as delivered, and your free revision covers anything we missed. Any partial refund is case by case, at our discretion.
Rush fee refund
If you paid for Rush and we miss the Rush delivery target (8 hours for Single Bug Fix, 24 hours for Deploy Rescue and Launch-Readiness Pass, counted from when the clock starts under our Terms: Rush start times apply 9 AM–9 PM ET, and the clock pauses while we're waiting on you), we refund the $25 Rush fee without you having to ask, and we still deliver your fix. If we then can't fix it, we refund the rest of what you paid too.
No refund
There's no refund:
- After we've delivered a fix that solves the problem you described.
- If changes made after delivery break the fix (for example new AI-generated code, dependency updates or hosting changes).
- For refund requests made more than 14 days after delivery, or more than 14 days after we deliver your free revision if you asked for one.
Discounted orders
If you used a discount code such as FOUNDING50, we refund the amount you actually paid. If you switch to a service that covers a bigger job, the price difference is the full price of the new service minus the discounted amount you paid.
How to request a refund
Email shipfix0@gmail.com with your order number and what went wrong. For a fix that doesn't solve the problem you described, we'll first do your free revision. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Shopify. Your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show it.
